Welcome at the Farmerhoeve website

Farmerhoeve VOF is located in Oss in the Netherlands. It is owned by Jan and Marie-José Lamers van Ewijk. Marie-José is responsible for the public relations and the correspondence, while Jan runs the daily business.

Studfarm

The breeding starts with the purchase of the 1 year old mare: Wulia. This mare is double Preferent and has 3 approved stallions at the KWPN, namely:

- Farmer (self-bred) v. Voltaire
- Jim Town
- Pardon

Wulia has also produced many Keur Mates: the Keur, Preferente, Prestatie mare Diwertje v. G. Ramiro Z.

From Diwertje several Champion mares were born, from what Kulia and Möpke be the most famous. Kulia was 2x Champion of The Netherlands, with the 2 years and with her 5 years. Her halfsister Möpke became reserve Champion at the 3 year old.

In 1987 Ferro was bought as a foal. Ferro has put us on the map worldwide. Children of Ferro were in our stable: Ocky, Olymbria en Jirondine L. All three: Keur, Preferent, Prestatie. They also bred all three approved stallions and Grand Prix horses.
